24 Jan A Look at Nicole Byer’s Funky & Fabulous Home

I’m a big comedy podcast lady so I know this wonderful human from all the great silliness she’s brought to my ear holes over the years but if you’re not an aficionado you might instead know her as a living ray of goddamn sunshine from the excellent “Nailed It!” tv show. I was shocked to discover recently that Nicole had her home designed by none other than Black Lacquer Design – one of my favorite design companies (which reminds me I need to do a round up of their most drool-worthy projects for you guys!), and the result is a bold, colorful, unique home the likes of which we don’t see enough of.

I’ve been coming back to it for inspiration time and time again so I thought I needed to share with the world. This is an amazing example of what personality in interiors looks like. Nicole is a force of nature and her happy self really shines through in every corner of the house. I can literally hear her giggling when I look at these. This feels like the cosiest, most awesome place to hang out in, full of really special pieces and trinkets, every item having its own backstory.
