Most of us boho-loving designers have been waiting for this reveal for a while and it’s finally here !! The great Jungalow guru, Justina Blakeney – mother of plants and all things with a face or a sun on them, shared with us the shoot of her new home in all its earth-toned and 70s throw-back groovy goodness !
It’s fun to see all these pictures side by side and really see the house as a whole – Justina has always been on the electric side of boho, with wild patterns and colors, but you can really see the next step in her design journey here, mellowing out and embracing softer tones in such a lovely way.
What always speaks to me most about her rooms is the layering, it’s her signature and I am in awe of this living room’s vibe, it’s just so welcoming – I feel like this is what a hug would translate to in decor terms lol. The palette continues throughout with a few funky and colorful touches throughout – I’ll let you walk around without the commentary 😉
This outdoor space also looks like total heaven. The star here ? A 20-piece outdoor sofa. I mean, have you ever heard anything more beautiful than that ? Oh the naps you could take …
The general feel from this whole house for me is : are we in Morocco, Mexico or California ?
There’s no way to be sure, but it looks damn good and so relaxing.
Though it can be hard to get a sense of it from the photos – there’s actually two indoor-outdoor spaces before getting to
the living room -, so the video really helps understand the space better.
It’s definitely worth checking out if you have 15 min to spare !
(it might trigger some instant vacation planning or intense jealousy so be ready though…)
While this place is definitely magical, I wanted to look back at Justina’s previous home too, which has been a staple for years, and probably among the most pinned pictures of all time at this point. Every single boho client I’ve had over the years has one of these in their inspiration board – and for good reason ! That blue bathroom is still #1 in my heart !
Get ready to see this fabulous new home everywhere and I can’t wait to see all the inspiration this space will spawn online ! Justina has so many awesome lines outdoor, from rugs to wallpaper and everything in-between – things I use quite frequently for my designs too ! Make sure you check out all she does and give her some love on this amazing creation !
