Throwback to The Funkiest, Pop Art-iest Home There Ever Was

Happy Monday design peeps ! I’ve been feeling nostalgic for all the bold interiors we used to have plastered all over Pinterest – despite the steady rise and overall take over of maximalism in the design world, there was a time in the beginning where it was so much more fearless and inspiring. I know I’m not the only design out there currently starved for good inspiration and mind-blowing surprises so in times of a creative rut, you often look back to the best ones there ever were ! For me, it was this project from a few years ago and I realized I never shared it here, so there’s no time like the present 😉

This color explosion of a house, grounded in hot pink and kelly green is an all-time favourite, and what seals it for me is the high dose of humor injected into every aspect of this place. It’s so irreverent in its accents and touches throughout the space that it almost feels punk (even the cactus thinks so!).

This is such a wild and special home and I hope it’ll be the perfect Monday wake up elixir for all of us !
