Good morning crazy design lovers !
So on Friday, I had half a Weekly Find prepped for you guys and then, I’ll be honest, life got too in the way :
I’m AirBnb-ing my place, and was running around like a chicken with its head cut off because I had too many requests and not enough sheets for the revolving door of people coming in (!!) and on top of that it’s a heat wave in Paris ! If you’ve never schlepped a piece of foam as big as you (don’t ask) and multiple bags from H&M Home, Zara and Ikea in the burning sun and boiling subway, and scrubbed your oven while dripping with sweat – well, you’re missing out. Highly recommend ! 🫠😂
Now that my place is occupied and I’ve had the past couple of days to rest and regroup we are back on track for some inspiration.
And I must say, I feel like I’m making it up to you in a big way because hooooooly crap you are not ready for this one 🤯 I got stopped dead in my track and I can’t believe I’d never seen this amazing space before !!

Honestly, I don’t know that I have any words left after this tour. I just, I love everything.
It’s so bold but so curated, the details are amazing – the object selection – and placement ! – is incredible.
I’m so in love with all the art, the African statues are just perfection.
I think what I’m really responding to the most is that it’s attaching “in your face” attitude to a global / bohemian style, which you never really see done. Bohemian maximalism always tends toward the happy and relaxed attitude, even if it’s moody : it’s about serenity and peacefulness mostly, and global is very much about roots and personal, meaningful items sourced from all over the world. Humor, irreverence or just plain attitude doesn’t really mix well with these themes the way, say Glam does and been doing really well the past decade. So this feels like such a breath of fresh air to me, and something that truly feels new. It’s daring, it’s fun and beautiful, it’s an experience and feels utterly unique. Give this man a hotel for god’s sake !!
I really hope you loved this as much as me, and this will be one hell of an inspiring shot for your week !
