18 Feb A Sensory Bar Experience in Rome : Meet “Far Bar”

And now for something completely different ! I’ve been looking for some really out there bar designs. We’ve seen the all pink velvet ones – love them -, jungle paradises full of pattern – super fun -, all disco ball interior – big fan over here ! -, but a truly out of the box experience, now those are harder to find. For that, we’re heading to Rome in the very fun Trastevere neighborhood, to Far Bar.

Destined to be a short lived experience, Far Bar is described as a “work of art you can grab a drink in” and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Designed as the ruins of the future, hands, legs and all types of body parts making up the structure of furniture and lighting coming up from hell or descending from heaven one only knows, all clad in plaster white except for the orange skies coming from a few of the arches.

From the minds of Clementine Keith-Roach and Christopher Page this fabulous creation really caught my eye and I hope it’ll bring a little whimsy to your day too ! Enjoy 💜
