Good morning all, today we’re taking a little stroll through an impressive building, apparently it was once a hotel and shopping arcade, and then a Turkish bath house before artist David Bromley and his fashion designer wife, Yuge, set their sights on it.
The combination of both of their creative talent is clearly what makes this space so unique.
Also, it’s filled with things. Interesting things, beautiful things, unique things – just the way we maximalist like it.
There’s art on every square inch of wall and the tabletops are filled with objects.
Not to mention the beauty found on the walls : the cracks, the layers, the stories.
It’s a beautiful space throughout and one I wish I could walk though as I’m sure there’s plenty more to see. It’s both their home but also their studio and can be rented for events so if you’re closer than me, take your chance to tour it !
I just love places like this, it feels hallowed in a way and I would probably walk in silence and with reverence looking at all the details if I was there. Even though I’m sure it’s a lively home filled with laughter and music, from afar it looks too perfect to make a sound.
You can find the full article about the space on Homes To Love.
Sending love to everyone everywhere for the rest of the week 💜
