Happy Fridaaaay ! Ooh, and it’s a good one 🤗 If you follow along on Insta, you know I just spent the last few days visiting Lille and it was glorious !! The city is beautiful, colorful and all around totally inspiring, and my funky décor shopping got me in a mood to keep the riding the spooky vibes wave – only this time we’re not going for sexy and chic, we’re going for bonkers and straight bananas ! So today you’ll find some of my favorite new pieces to bring out your inner funky, color-obsessed vampire. It’s a new breed 🤪 Let’s have some fun !
Good Morning all ! I’m so excited to share today’s tour, and I couldn’t even wait for more pictures – it’s being featured in next month’s World of Interiors – so this is another short and sweet one ! 🤗
Designer Nick Olsen is among my all time inspirations and a guiding light in eclectic style when I was starting out. His style is filled with powerful unexpected color combos, and an array of unique pieces, all contributing to such creative settings. I’m always delighted to see a new space of his, and discover what remarkable new twist he’s come up with and this one is even more special because it’s his own West Chelsea apartment ! I am just in awe of all this playfulness from room to room, the scale of the items around the living room, the palette and of course … the kitchen is just incredible. Asteroids ! Come on … All in all, genius ! I hope more photos come out of the space, I’d love to snoop on some vignettes !
This is also your Monday reminder that small apartments can pack a serious punch, trust me, I know it well 😎 So don’t be shy and go crazy in your tiny studio !
Don’t forget to follow Nick Olsen online, and if you want to see more of his work, check out his fabulous portfolio ! Enjoy the week !
Happy Friday ! In case you missed it, the internet has been taken over by the spooky vibes already : Halloween decor is coming out, even though we’re a month out and I’m not ready at ALL ! But if you’re a regular here you know my spooky vibes run all year long, let’s be honest, and this week I discovered this most perfect of art pieces : Cher and a black cat. If that isn’t a sign, I don’t know what is … So I decided to let the vibes roll and surrounded her with sexy slight gothic pieces sure to delight any dark room lovers out there !
