Good morning all ! It has been a very quick turn around since you last heard from me, but we’re back here on a Monday morning and pretending everything is normal and my schedule hasn’t been completely messed up 😂
I’ve been wanting to share this tour for a while now, and some of you might recognize the first set of photos from my recent all-about-green interiors round-up ! I’ve been a fan of Jean-Philippe Demeyer for a while, the flemish art dealer and designer (and a part of the AD 100 as of last year, which is no small honor!) has such a way with colors, composition, and of course an unique eye for selecting the most amazing pieces. Vignettes of this house have been among my Instagram “saves” and Pinterest boards for years now and while I didn’t pull it out explicitly at the time, I’m pretty sure this is 100% the subconscious inspiration for my recent wall color change … 💚
Now of course this is just one of many of his amazing creations and I’d love to pepper in more home tours in the future, but for now, let’s focus on this one of a kind, I repeat : Medieval. Castle. in Bruges ! I mean, come on ! 😍
This whole home has such incredible personality, so much color and texture, the art and furniture selection is just incredible, it’s so layered but not cluttered …. simply, a masterpiece. This man is the undeniable king of eclectic in my mind, everything feels so effortless and made to mix, perfectly placed and collected over time. I can feel so much warmth coming through this screen just looking at the spaces, a lived-in, inviting paradise. Take notes everybody, this is how it’s done ! 🙌
I hope this gorgeous tour filled your cup with inspiration to go out there, paint some walls, buy some statues or you know,
just move to Bruges ! Why not 🤷♀️ Have a great week !
